Passenger cars, delivery vehicles, buses and more — our client provides EV charging services for any EV, anywhere it goes. They have a fully integrated portfolio of hardware, cloud services and support with the best technology in the industry.

The Problem

To further enhance their customer solutions. The client wanted to address the following challenges: 

  • EVs are parked for a longer duration at home or workplace resulting in faster discharge yet drivers, and partners receive no automated notification other than the vehicle indicators.

  • No charge station information/notification is received at Malls, grocery shops, parks, and restaurants

  • Cyber Security incident reporting emails are manual and take a lot of time

  • No automated communication for drivers, station owners, partners (installers, automakers, auto dealers, resellers and distributors)

  • Sudden/ Planned power outage notifications are not available for users

  • Product safety issues or notifications are not enabled

  • Chargepoint compatibility with Android auto & innovative EV

The Solution

Considering the challenges, we suggested using Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration to automate, expand and enhance the customer experience for the users of ChargePoint.

Key Benefits

SFMC ensures the security of the ChargePoint network as any driver, at any station, and any system can use the ChargePoint network.

Integration and implementation of SFMC assisted in email automation. The implementation helped in sending out relevant & timely communication on cyber security incidents to drivers, customers and partners through an automated and standardised system.

On social media, SFMC can advertise plans & features of ChargePoint such as peer-to-peer roaming agreements.

SFMC features were utilised to share relevant & timely communication on power outages and planned or unplanned shutdowns to the users within a specific location (Pincode based).

Help in monitoring and strengthening the EV station management and maintenance program.
